“My husband and I spent one night in Princetown Guesthouse and were very impressed. We got a great welcome from Sonia and Gavin and a small tin of tray bakes on our arrival. Everything has been thought of. Breakfast choices are numerous. This has to be one of, if not the best, guesthouse we have stayed in in Northern Ireland.”

"I was made to feel @ home almost immediately.
The Princetown Guesthouse is very well run, the room was brilliant and the bathroom was clean and spotless.
It was a very short breakfast I had as I had to leave early but from what I could see anyone who prefers continental breakfast only, like myself, need look no further as its all here. A wide choice of everything +.”
“This is a beautiful bed & breakfast with extremely friendly and courteous hosts. Gavin & Sonia made our stay so memorable and went out of their way to make us feel at home. The rooms are comfortable, toilets are well equipped & clean. Breakfast is wholesome. The promenade is walking distance from this guest house. Within a short distance u can find a few pubs, restaurants & supermarkets.”

“I doubt you can get any better than this , the rooms were spotless and so comfortable it was a home away from home. From the moment we arrived having help in getting our bags to the room to the local advice from our gracious hosts Sonia and Gavin we could not have asked for more. If we ever visit Northern Ireland again there is only one place we would stay and this is it, if traveling to Belfast or nearby do yourself a favour and try to book in here."

Sonia and Gavin are fantastic hosts. Rooms are so clean and fresh, lovely helpful staff.
Really you could not ask for more, definitely recommend .
Fabulous weekend away using this lovely guesthouse for our 8 strong group!
Great location for drinks or food out and some stunning sunsets over the marina.
A very warm welcome & personal service gave the whole break a wonderful feel.
This was truly a step above the average guesthouse. Gavin and Sonia do everything they can to improve your stay.
We got cakes to bring to our room. There were already a range of teas and coffees and bars to have with it. Room was spotless.
Breakfast is continental but excellent. I counted the cereal choices. There were eleven as well as lots of seeds and fruit to go with it. Plenty of yogurt, fruit etc.
Only a short walk down to the sea
I travel internationally for a living. Quite honestly, this is one of the finest BnB’s that I’ve ever stayed at. Sometimes it’s the little things that make a difference… Sonia and Gavin have seen to every detail of our visit and their numerous kindnesses are to numerous to list here. Trust me, you won’t be disappointed.
Highly recommend this guesthouse. I was made to feel very welcome on arrival. I was given a little box of mini cakes which was definitely a really nice touch. Extra care made my stay even more enjoyable. My room was lovely, fresh, clean. Tea/coffee making facilities, towels and bath/shower wash gels available for my use. Breakfast was very nice also. A huge variety of healthy food options to choose from. Again at breakfast I was made to feel very welcome and enjoyed the nice background music to compliment my breakfast. I really liked the 12pm check out time also, so I could enjoy more relax time. I will definitely be booking into the Princetown guesthouse for my future visits to Bangor. Lovely place with very friendly people.

“We booked this half an hour before we arrived and were warmly greeted with a small tin of assorted cakes to take to our room to have with our tea. We went for a walk in the evening and were pleasantly surprised to cross the road and between the houses were steps leading down the the harbour and the town, it was so central. The harbour was lovely and we went for a nice long walk along the sea path. We didn’t go into town as we were tired from a long day sight seeing and traveling. Breakfast was help yourself to an assortment of cereals and tea and coffee. The host came in and offered us toast and toasted potato bread then boiled eggs. She then made me the tastiest pancakes with bananas and honey and offered us her mums homemade jam. It made such a lovely change after 4 nights in different b&bs not to have another fries up breakfast”
Very hospitable and homely environment. Welcoming hosts.
Great location in the town.
Quiet but central. Added extras like bottled water and buns! Make it extra special! I found the room very clean and cosy. Will stay again
Stayed here one night as we had a wedding to attend. On arrival Sonia and Gavin made us feel very welcome, even allowing us to have our room earlier as the wedding was at 1pm. When we returned from the wedding, Sonia brought coffee and drinks up to our room, which was a lovely touch……The room was spotless and there was even toiletries left for us to use. We had the continental breakfast before beginning our journey again. Excellent hosts.
A home from home, in every sense of the word. Whatever your reason for visiting Bangor, make this property that place you stay. A truly friendly welcome and the perfect hospitality, not over powering or over familiar as is so often the case. Sonia and Gavin were on hand throughout our stay, but never overpowering and always very helpful. Rooms were comfortable, spotless and so quiet. The extra special touches of freshly made cakes and bottled water on arrival only go further in convincing me that this really is the best place to stay in Bangor. Thank you, we’ll see you again soon…hopefully!
Sonia and her husband were very welcoming and friendly. Their gust house is very clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. I We had a lovely sea view from our room and it’s in a quiet area but only a 5 min walk to town. Excellent 😀

We received a lovely welcome from the proprietors. The room was exceptionally spacious with a nice view. The self service continental breakfast was generous. The guesthouse is in a convenient location to the town Centre and the off street parking was a bonus.
